Prohibited Uses
Legal and Regulatory
- Using the Service in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
- Using the Service in or for activities subject to U.S. export controls, sanctions, or trade restrictions
- Uploading, transmitting, or sharing data the user does not have the legal right to share
Security and Integrity
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other customers' accounts, or any underlying systems
- Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization
- Bypassing or attempting to bypass authentication, authorization, or rate-limiting mechanisms
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service, the servers or networks providing it, or other users' use of it
- Uploading viruses, malware, ransomware, or other harmful code
- Conducting or facilitating denial-of-service attacks
Misuse of the Platform
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of the Service
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise commercially exploiting the Service without our written authorization
- Using the Service to benchmark for or build a competing product
- Using automated means (scrapers, bots, headless browsers) to access the Service except as expressly permitted by published APIs and rate limits
- Misrepresenting yourself, your affiliation, or the origin of any communication sent through the Service
Content and Behavior
- Sending spam, phishing, harassing, threatening, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable communications through the Service
- Using the Service to harm minors or facilitate illegal activity
- Uploading content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
AI and Finley
- Submitting queries to Finley designed to elicit harmful, illegal, deceptive, or rights-infringing outputs
- Using Finley outputs to make decisions about individuals in ways that produce unlawful discriminatory effects
- Attempting to extract or reconstruct the prompts, weights, or training data of the underlying LLM provider
- Using Finley as the sole basis for material financial, tax, legal, accounting, or investment decisions without human review
Enforcement
FinanceIQ may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, FinanceIQ may, at its discretion:
- Issue a warning
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate the offending account
- Remove or disable offending content
- Cooperate with law enforcement, with or without prior notice to the user
Termination for AUP violations does not entitle the user to a refund of fees already paid, except as required by law or our Terms of Service (Section 3.3).
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of activity on FinanceIQ that violates this AUP, please report it to contact@tryfinanceiq.com with as much detail as possible. We treat reports confidentially and will not retaliate against good-faith reporters.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated as described in our Terms of Service (Section 15).
